We’re writing this note to you to THANK YOU for all you have done for us during this past year. Last year, we realized that we had no other recourse to get out of the mounds of credit card debt we were in, but to file for bankruptcy. At first the thought of bankruptcy turned our stomachs. We were embarrassed and afraid of the word bankruptcy.

We were recommended to Goldman & Beslow. Upon arriving at your offices, we can remember sitting in the waiting room and trying to read quickly as many articles we could that were either posted on the walls or left on the nearby coffee table, etc. The anxiety was setting in, as we sat and waited to be called in. We have to admit reading the articles on bankruptcy and some of the thank you notes left by previous clients, made us feel a bit at ease. In addition, the moment you introduced yourself and sat down with us in your office, we knew right away we were dealing with an experienced, knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, respectful (we could go on and on) attorney.

After a series of questions, you began to explain in great length what was needed of us and what we should expect. You tamed our worries….all in our initial meeting. You turned our unfortunate situation into a “fresh” start on life. We know it sounds like a cliché, but it truly is a FRESH start on life! Sometimes just saying thanks seems not enough to gratitude. When my husband and I went to seek for help at Goldman & Beslow, LLC, Our house was a month away to be foreclosure. We tried to modify the mortgage, but our petition was denied by the bank. We thought we did not have any more options left because I had a previous bankruptcy. First we tried to avoid bankruptcy at all costs. However, we were inundated with constant phone calls and threatening letters that our case would be referred to court and that our salaries would be seized. We unsuccessfully tried to sell the house or modify our mortgage. Eventually we decided to seek legal help and went to number of bankruptcy attorneys who made us feel even more scared. To Whom It May Concern, I Maryland Woods writing this review letter on behave of Attorney Mark Goldman and staff. I have experienced different things in life; one main experience was finding God in my life. Upon during the wrong things in my life God forgave me. When I was in a financial situation, one late night I wonder how was I going to come up out of this financial burden. I start praying on my knees, Lord help me please. While searching for an attorney I came upon the firm Goldman and Beslow and I immediately got a good feeling and gave them a call. From the minute they answered the phone the girls were friendly and courteous, we felt very comfortable and made an appointment. I worked with David Beslow. From day one, he made me feel comfortable. I was feeling enough shame of my own about declaring bankruptcy. He is upbeat, polite, quick and gets down to business but also cheerful and helpful. A few things did slip through the cracks, however, I realize he works with A LOT of people and he was able to resolve these things quickly. I would rate this law firm and my experience “Excellent” were it not for one aspect of my experience. The people who answer the phones are HORRIBLE. I cannot stress it enough. They are snotty, rude and condescending. They do not listen. They assume that anyone calling hasn’t yet paid a dime or is calling about a stupid question… (Newsflash — bankruptcy is scary. There are no “stupid questions”.) No one likes dealing with lawyers. The fact that one must retain a lawyer means something is wrong. Bankruptcy is horrible, but these women’s phone manners are atrocious, including the paralegal I had the pleasure of dealing with on one occasion. If you can get past these nasty Jersey Girls’ phone manners, I recommend this law firm. (I’m a Jersey Girl, too, but not like that!)
